Michael Sima (2012)

When Sima was on the ice, everyone in the rink knew it. Every touch put his Predators team in a better position. Sima possesses a strong frame, elite edge work, and high-end puckhandling. He builds speed with explosive crossovers through the neutral zone and enters the offensive zone with pace and awareness. He showed accuracy and exceptional vision on backdoor feeds that led to goals, and he displayed excellent positioning and movement from the bumper spot on the power play. In the two games we watched, Sima recorded goals and assists, but his greatest asset may be his combination of work ethic and hockey IQ. He can start a play from his own goal line and finish it in the slot. He consistently works above pucks in the offensive zone and keeps himself between the puck and the net in the defensive zone. Sima is relentless.
