Labelle was one of the event’s top 2012s and about as complete a U13 skater as you’ll find: big, fast, skilled, and deceptive. He used his frame to bully to interior ice, created independently or within structure, and defended with sharp anticipation that flipped play the other way. The shot is already heavy—even if accuracy is still sharpening—and he let it fly with confidence. It’s easy to see why he profiles among the very best 2012s in North America by the data.
