At the Atlantic Championships Duplessis showcased the same scoring instincts and offensive flair that made him a force throughout the regular season. Duplessis is a dynamic skater who generates breakaways with his explosive first step and ability to change direction without losing speed. He is most dangerous with the puck on his stick—he can beat defenders one-on-one with quick hands and a strong lower-body drive, and he has a lethal release that allows him to pick corners from the slot or off the rush. During the event he consistently found soft spots in coverage, finishing chances off the pass and creating space for teammates with his puck protection. His heavy shot, excellent vision and high-end hockey IQ make him a premier offensive weapon and one of the top scoring threats in the Atlantic Championships field.

Miguel Duplessis is a 2010-born forward for the Dieppe Flyers U15 AAA team in New Brunswick. The Canadian winger was one of the most dangerous scorers in Atlantic Canada during the 2024‑2025 season, finishing with 44 goals and 35 assists in just 32 games. His 2.47 points per game placed him among the elite in his age group—he ranked 177th out of more than 7,500 North America U14 players with a prospect score of 8.12, good for the top 3% of all U14 skaters. In his home province’s New Brunswick U15 class he was even more dominant, finishing second overall with a prospect score of 8.88, while his numbers also placed him inside the top 2% of the entire Canada U15 class with a strong 9.54 prospect score.
