The Eastern Hockey Federations bantams wrapped up on March 15th in Exeter NH. We focused on the 2012 elite teams in the 8 team playoff bracket.

Flynn Kelley (2013)

Summary

Kelley is a 2013 playing for the 2012 Top Gun Elite. As far as we know Kelley is the only 2013 playing up in the FED this season and we can see why. Kelley is playing forward and is a threat every time the puck is on his stick. He has good speed and strength on net drives. Kelley shows incredible awareness and timing, he arrives on time for teammates. Kelley is a shooter, when given any time or space he displays, power, quickness, poise and accuracy with almost every shot.

Summary

Bourque is a forward playing for Top Gun Elite. Bourque is smooth on his edges, he cuts on a dime in small areas. He is a competitor and consistently wins his battles. He showed a heavy shot off the rush.

Jack Ronan (2012)

Summary

Ronan is a smooth defender for Top Gun Elite. The left hand shot is crafty, he is able to look shot or pass and pull pucks around defending forwards. He operates well on the blue line, taking the middle to opening shooting / passing lanes.

Mason Conway (2012)

Summary

Conway is a big defender for the Boston Jr Terriers. The measurables are great with Conway. He has an excellent frame and is a smooth skater. His puck skills seem solid as well. Defensively Conway was good, with in zone pressure he denies the middle and had his head of a swivel.

Summary

Holtslag continues to impress for Top Gun. The forward has nice wheels and deceptive skating. He was able to rag the puck from the dzone to ozone multiple times. Holtslag shows nice poise in the ozone, circling till he can find his shot or an open teammate.

Taigan St. Germain (2012)

Summary

St. Germain is a forward playing for the Seacoast Performance Academy. He is a bull, creating space with physical play. St. Germain uses his frame to separate body from puck to force turn overs. He showed nice edge work in small areas and forcefully drove to the net.

MacKenzie stood out on the back end for the Middlesex Islanders. He showed good poise with the puck and excellent acceleration. He used his feet on several exits. His hands looked in sync with his skating.

Summary

Farren was excellent for the eagles in their run to the final. Every time over the board Farren brought great energy. He showed incredible edge work and elusiveness along the wall.

Summary

Adams continues to impress. The undersized Dman has incredible poise with the puck. Adams has developed several deceptive moves up top. His ability to sell shot allows him to pull the puck into a better position.

Fisher is a forward for Middlesex Islanders. Fisher showed determination in the playoff game against SPA. He has really good feet and a nice frame. He is tough to knock of pucks and looks like a high-end athlete. Fisher picked up an assist on a laser wrist shot from the top of the circles.

Cameron Lundin (2012)

Summary

Lundin was doing all he could in the semi final against the eagles. The Forward showed some electric one on one moves where he was untouched. Lundin plays a 200ft game, constantly on the right side of the puck.

Steven Sharkey (2012)

Sharkey is a tall left hand shot D playing for the Terriers. Sharkey was pushing the pace all game. It may have been the score, but his style seems to lend offensive. He showed a great wrist shot from the top of the circles for a goal, the set up to buy space and move the goalie was even better. Sharkey was good on defense with the play in front of him, he pushed up all day and gave no time to opposing forwards.
