Nelson was the standout forward for the Rockets. His combination of size, nimbleness and skill was unique at the 2012 level. Nelson has an incredible motor, his pursuit of the puck was noticeable. When he had it on his stick he wasn’t afraid to attack defenders straight on. Nelson also loves to shoot-his curl and drag shot looks to be elite as he pulled the puck right around a defenders stick and skates for a top shelf goal.
